Maggie
My husband and I have a very spirited German Shepherd—Maggie—who was particularly challenging as a puppy. Kara worked with Maggie in private training sessions as well as in group training classes. She was always so patient and read Maggie so well. Kara and Maggie had a strong bond right from the beginning.
When my husband and I got married, we knew we wanted Maggie to be at the wedding, but we also didn’t want to have to worry about keeping an eye on her all day. We asked Kara to be Maggie’s “date.” It was truly the best wedding planning decision we made! Kara kept Maggie company all evening, but she also went above and beyond. She chatted with our wedding guests and really just fit right in. She even bought a navy dress so that she blended in with our wedding party. And before Kara took Maggie home for the night, she took her into the photo booth for some goofy pictures. What a wonderful surprise when we got our wedding photos back.
Then, less than two weeks before we left for our honeymoon over the Christmas holidays, Maggie tore her ACL. She wasn’t able to go to board and train anymore, and we couldn’t send her to day care where she could injure herself further. We didn’t know what to do. Kara saved the day - she stayed at our home while we were away and took care of Maggie.
Kara is a dog whisperer as well as a wonderful human being and friend. I can’t recommend Kara highly enough.
